About Lori

PraIrie Girl at Heart…

Lori is a prairie girl at heart, born in Saskatchewan. She always dreamed of running a farm because of her deep love of nature and animals. Lori is a strong believer in and advocate for sustainability and balance between nature and horticulture. She is a mother and grandmother and cherishes the bonds that family brings. In her former career, Lori was a Registered Nurse and also ran a garden center with her son, Jordan, in Vancouver. 

Lori moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2015 and has since been hard at work creating her dream farm.

When she first saw this gently sloping sunny piece of land Lori saw an opportunity to build her dream stable. She knew this was the place she could create a peaceful and safe home for her animals and guests to enjoy, all set amongst meandering paths, water features and beautiful gardens. She says this property felt like home immediately when she first saw it.

Her vision is now a reality.
